The Sports Kinesiologist & Founder
While we haven't yet met, I am looking forward to spending some time with you!
I'm Zig Ziegler, The Sports Kinesiologist & founder of RunRite & The RunRite Challenge. I invented The RunRite System to analyze runner biomechanics and efficiency as a tool capable of identifying the physical compensations which impact runner technique and overall runner efficiency.
We work with individual athletes as well as private school, public school, and club coaches as well as health and wellness professional to discover what it takes for their athletes to run faster and eliminate their risk of runner related injuries!
The RunRite Revolution is a journey for athletes, parents, coaches, physical therapists, chiropractors, sports performance coaches, & more to discover how to achieve physical performance breakthroughs unique to each individual athlete!

As a consultant to over 100,000 athletes, coaches, trainers, physical therapists, I have also delivered public speaking engagements to high school, collegiate/professional teams and organizations including ...
We began testing early versions of The RunRite System technology in 1999 when we analyzed the individual biomechanics of hundreds of amateur, collegiate and professional athletes including former NFL wide receiver Anquan Boldin. The former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver was one of many professional and collegiate and professional athletes who benefitted from a RunRite Assessment during our research phase!
From 1999 to 2016, Zig Ziegler, sports kinesiologist and inventor of the RunRite System along with his team of runner biomechanists, conducted research on over 10,000 runners from age 12 to 88.
To date, over 30,000 athletes have been assessed using The RunRite System. Our research answers some important questions about runner technique and biomechanics, runner posture, muscular endurance and cardiovascular endurance, and more.
Our programs help assist athletes and coaches in achieving breakthroughs in individual runner performances and eliminating the root cause of a runner's specific injuries by using proprietary technology and the science of kinesiology. My team specializes in performing runner kinesiology assessments using our proprietary 3D motion capture technology, combined with an extensive background in sports Kinesiology. Over the past 31 years, my journey has given me an opportunity to develop working relationships with over three dozen professional sports teams, hundreds of collegiate teams, and over 100,000 athletes.
As a former all-American hurdler, track and field has always been my passion. Back in 1991 when I started working with athletes, I believed there was something to the theory that in order to race fast, athletes had to train fast - but not everyday. And in order to maintain that kind of high intensity load, I agreed with coaches that becoming more efficient was the key. And measuring was the only way to know if athletes were being efficient or just making it look like with when they improved their performances. I had to stop guessing the guessing.
That first year of coaching made me hungry for more! The biggest complaint throughout out my entire career has been one simple thought: Why do other professionals ignore the individual athlete and instead focus on training athletes for the sport? I cover this in detail during all of our transformation seminars and courses.
The short answer? We didn't know what we didn't know, we didn't know.... until we started to measure HOW each athlete's body was moving and WHAT each individual athlete could do to improve
